the growth in popularity of industry funds poses a massive threat to AMPs business, what are they doing to fight this trend. ? And does AMP and places like it have advantages over industry funds. the only one im aware of is that you can get refunds on excess franking credtis if you are a retiree in retail funds like AMP as opposed to industry funds where you lose that benefit. Why would anyone choose AMP over an industry fund?. I dont see where any new business might come from.
