By no means do I have as much knowledge on capital gains taxes in Australia. In the US, for my investments (and trades), when I sell is very important. Just a reminder for many of you that are looking for a quick pop. The longer you can hold Calima and weather the volatility, the better chance you can maximize cash in your pocket post selling. In 30 days, the first tranche of my Calima investment becomes long term. Will be fun for my when CE re-rates to consider taking some initial profits, at least to cover part of my original investment. Then I will let everything else ride for free.
