That's a good point. I think Calima had plenty of low ball offers for a long time, but something genuine has now come along. I know how frustrating it's been and Glenn has always been firm on his opinion of its value (citing neighbouring deals).

Another reason why it's likely very close is the new export terminal is going to be fully functioning soon. Drilling should really have started yesterday if they want to take advantage of the new distribution capacity when it opens. The recent deals going through and mad rush to commence projects is now all across the Montney. All the recent buyers in the region have written about accelerating the programs. I suspect CE1's buyer is now laying on a lot of pressure to close a deal as well, which likely means a very attractive price is commanded. These are reasons why I re-entered.
