tourmaline just announced they are limited by a lack of BC drilling permits, cause of the blueberry first nations dispute
tourmaline is well positioned to only "maintain or modestly grow BC production" over next 2-3 years
they need to ramp hard to provide enough gas for LNG Canada and aeco
so no ramp is bad for LNG Canada and good for aeco price, and likely to impact ALL production increases in the blueberry FN claim area (half of the montney near LNG Canada)
even if a quick resolution from here, 2025 is approaching fast with little/no ramp in production
ce1 is just outside the blueberry claim area, closer to LNG Canada, and ready to permit and drill
