You are right not all shareholders want the same thing but what all shareholders do want to see is their shareholding in the black .
The great majority of shareholders will be in the red at the current share price and if they have negative cash flow and go into debt the the share price is very likely to drop back .

I do understand that dividends or share buybacks will stop while they invest in getting their Montney assets more attractive .
The Market should see that expenditure as a positive but more so if they can do it without going into debt .
