Agree with you here.
It's ridiculous to see the gap to molycorp blow out to 1.5bill!
This represents 90c share on the lyc share price.
There are absolutely no justifications for this IMHO.
In fact lyc should command a premium as -
- lyc will produce 22000 tons vs 20000 tons
- lyc will produce 1 year earlier at least
- sojitz deal means last part of funding in place mcp still needs 500mill plus
- lyc is all but sold out stages 1 and 2
- lyc has tax free status in Malaysia for 7 years
- mt weld basket price much higher
The gap will be closed in time as lyc becomes a producer later this year.
