I went to the AGM last year, they lowered the bar for the CEO to get his bonuses. They are an existing player in the sport shoes market and due to competition they were "forced" to discount to complete in the market.
Now they want to get into a different market with sports direct as a "New" player, the competition is not going to want to loose market shoe. Competition will be more aggressive than what they are experiencing in the shoe market. With the time, money and effort establishing the business, I reckon it will be at least 3 years plus before they start making money.
At this stage Accent had not given full costings and projected profitability.
