    Personally, I'm invested in WES and I've been averaging in over the years. I have no idea when it's a good entry point. Basically, I buy the dips and usually don't blink. WES is a core holding for me and some people would think that there's way better investments out there. What's your goal? You say "long term". If that's the case, then in 10, 20 or 30 years you might have an investment that generates a decent return.

    $23 and I'd be all over it like a cheap suit. That's not realistic.

    Have you considered taking an initial position that forces you to take a keen interest and then building on that position over the journey? It's that little adage...time in the market vs timing the market. That's what I do and I still have the shirt on my back and re-invest the divvies until I'm ready to click over from the accumulation phase.

    Hopefully you'll get some feedback that might assist you with your decision making. $49 today...could be $44 tomorrow...or $52.
