The EXdiv date on SOl is about 16th November -- and the ATO is threatening people with large fines about this time -- so the retirees are usually trying to sell at this time... SOL is relatively easy to sell at any time -- but right now with the global conditions, buyers are only willing to offer a low price. Value buying time -- I prefer to buy at "tax" time - Anyway -- good luck and good hunting.
