I saw them once in an early BrightStar report ~ < 2010
I also saw a very early Gov Geological report dating back to around 1958-68 ? that first identified Longonjo as having REE's, I think it may have been done by the Portuguese. Certainly Longonjo was known by 1968 as it appears as a dot in "Igneous Petrology"
I will go looking again.
