A mate said100 PM8 shares will be converted into 1 PRE share. So the price variation of PM8 or PRE will not influence anything if you want your pm8 shares converted into PRE eventually. In other words, the price drop now will not influence long-term holders who wish to hold pre shares on LSE. Considering the current cheap price of the PM8 share, it is really beyond me to see so many people are selling the gem at present.
