It does not look as if too many people are quick at mental arithmetic anymore !!!
We have all seen Roskill's Supply vs Demand graphs / predictions for the next ten-twenty years; a lot of work goes into compiling the statistics behind those graphs, ie They look at all of the Companies who are expected to bring "Projects" into production, factor in the size of the deposit and make an estimate of how many Tons per Annum they will be able to contribute to supply.
Now while I do not know the exact numbers, I would bet that Greenland was expected to contribute at least 20-30% of the Western Worlds supply requirements from 2023 onwards, So if we now take that away from the supply pool, what was a fairly big deficit now becomes huge !.
There is only one logical outcome ~ Prices are definitely going to rise, unless somebody steps in and makes up the shortfall. Longonjo - Saltend ?
