If the grant comes in (hopefully as high as 40M pounds) it will be tax free and treated as income by the market, but most importantly it adds a huge de-risking element to the project which I believe would be the main propulsion for the SP as you now have the UK Gov satisfied that it is worth backing with large funds. The UK Gov will do all it can to make PRE succeed from that point. It will be a watershed moment for PRE if it happens. I would expect at massive re-rate based on that.
