So like many others I am unsure. But it would seem it is a local market in a sense. If you want to trade and sell asx shares at the expensive lsx rate to currently make more profits you need to convert your CDIs to Ordinary shares. This probably started happening overnight as volumes went up over 500,000 shares was it? So this will keep happening but by bit until there are less people selling on asx and share price goes up and matches lsx price.
