    Ummm, sorry for the silly question, but...
    What if all the available Aussie shares for sale dried up?

    I realise that would raise the price, but what if there were absolutely none for sale even if people offered $5 or $10 per share?

    Not concerned, just curious. Seems if there was nothing for sale there would be ...I don't know - what would the ASX be without sales? Thought about this last night when there were just two sellers left and thought, "what if there were none?".

    Hope I'm getting this across - have my doubts though.
