The last figures I saw for Sl vein graphite ranged from about $1000 per tonne to $3000 per tonne for material grading from 90% to 99%. That was over a year ago, but I don't believe prices have gone up and may have gone down a bit.
A sale price of $9000/t would imply some sort of value-added product, beyond simple sorting or flotation. The opex cost looks ok for mining and simple processing, but more would have to be added if you were looking at some high tech process.
A mine life of 27 years! What sort of tonnages for annual production and overall resource were being used? Sounds like wishful thinking again.
