Hi Dreamerof, just to explain, with ruby mining of this type, the rubies are found in alluvial gravel beds and are distributed very randomly over the prospective field, so the only way to establish a reliable record of the extent and value of the ore body is by means of extensive bulk sampling, test pits and auger drilling. This can take several years to complete, but the upside is that the rubies recovered by bulk sampling are quite substantial and will provide a reliable source of revenue to fund prospecting and ongoing development of the project.
