Happened to me a few times. They settle around mid-day each day. So if it is today, you have until then to get the funds into your account. If you havent done so, you will get an SMS & email telling you that the transaction failed. If you pay them immediately via the Bpay number they supply in the email, it is all good. If you dont you can sell some shares to cover it, and just tell them so via a reply to the email. That is fine with them, but they then charge you a dishonor fee of $50.

Your account is also frozen to buy shares until it is settled. You can sell though. Once it is settled your account lock is lifted & all is normal. There is no comeback or ramifications.
