All you say is true @Analysta but the fact is that the SP is pretty close to tomorrow's estimate despite the elements of greed, fear and wishful thinking. So perhaps the answer is that greed and fear cancel one another out in the end result, and wishful thinking is also a very important element too in the determination of the SP. You can't base everything on the fundamentals without factoring psychology into the equation.
