I try to buy shares for capital gain rather than dividends.
However I keep a watching brief on APA as it has a good dividend yield, perhaps a rarity in today's market.
The share price has recently somewhat declined.
Is this due to energy and related stocks being somewhat out of favour, the oil price, US$/A$ relativities, the recent contract annoucement requiring almost A$500 million in capital expenditure, debt levels or something else?
Through a third party who's interstate, I had it suggested that APA was good value at A$10.90. It's now well below that. Thoughts?
