Rather an inauspicious day for RIO having just broken through the yearly low on the ASX. RIO certainly getting a better average price on their current buyback than the last time they undertook such a program. I believe the average price paid per share during the previous buyback was 3747 pence. They are presently buying at a price which is about two thirds of that. I'm not at all sure when the current buyback is going to end as I haven't been keeping track of how much has already been spent, but the end must be approaching.
I wonder, is anyone prepared to forecast a share price for RIO a couple of month post buyback?
