Thinking about it, the capital return basically strips us back to 'very junior explorer' status, and will enhance the prospect of return for new investors after the return is done and dusted, as the price will drop back to 40-50c.

Suppose, just suppose, that FAR strike black gold with this drill and find a way not to cock it up, and the success adds, say 100M barrels that the market values at $1 per barrel i.e. $100M to the market cap, or about $1 per share.

Compare the end results with (buying after return) and without the capital return (buying today):

Without - $1.30 + $1 = $2.30 per share, or a 77% return.
With - $0.50 (based on today's price) + $1 = $1.50 or a 200% return.

Never know, I might hold and get my money back yet. Or I might make exactly the same mistake again and try to catch the falling knife. I had my average buy in down to zero after trading it for 8 years, but then I got greedy and bought some more. Lots more. Oops.
