Leading up the first half result the SP was on a tear and no doubt management were concerned that bad news would be delivered, albeit not finalsing the full extent of that news at the time of trading halt.

A trading halt was called on the back of a rapidly rising share price - it had risen nearly 50% in the preceeding week.

So following that line of thought. If the share price continues to rise by what looks like 50% plus week on week and management consider news is not likely to be met by a welcoming market then presumably a trading halt (suspension) will be called sometime between now and the end of the month.

Personally, I think it will trade open into the report and that is because considered opinion from the board is the outlook will not come as a negative surprise to the market.

On that basis our early warning system (all is okay) will be trading remains open three days out from delivering the FY16 result/outlook.

Doc, trouble with this "early warning system", when it goes off it is too late to get out. As if we are actually the canary.

However, like you (and now Alex I too feel TH not likely, in fact, report will be what we expect, little chance of repeat of Feb 29.

Not expecting big bang but will be blown away if we drop back to 20s...

Been such a pleasant period of no news actually...
