I hear you mate. The only logical answer is that the market / the money people, do not like Buru. They do not like the fact they've been drilling dusters and generally effing things up for the last 10 years. This sentiment is understandable.
This sentiment will change quickly if Rafa comes in big.
Relatively speaking, drilling and producing onshore is cheap.
Offshore exploration has basically dried up and there isn't much in the pipeline.
The oil price is going through the roof, as expected with such a lack of investment.
And our wonderful Greenpeace lithium battery friends have conned our money people friends that they should cancel the oil and gas industry...
Its almost as if we are in the perfect storm for Buru success, if Rafa does indeed, come in big.
If Rafa comes in, these same people who won't take a punt on this small time player just now, will be fighting amongst themselves to get involved at a much higher price.
