I think it was spin and arrogance all along 5 ,a classic case of too many cooks with fingers in the pie spoiling the broth .By the time they realised the wheels had fallen off it was just too hard to fess up ,take some hard medicine and lose face .So like a lot of them do they kept juggling the balls telling all and sundry everything was hunky dory .Of course those exiting the stock knew better.
I've seen it time and time again at this end of the market ,but rarely to this extent because too many smaller holders had been roped into the story .I guess there could still be some hope if they went back and adopted the aforementioned strategy but it would be a miserable time and a very long haul.It's certainly never been their style anyway
