Wrkr will be defined by its partnership with MUFG Pension & Market Services.

Partnering can be risky, but on the balance of probability, I would say the risk to Wrkr in this relationship, is more to the upside.

For example, there have been a number of annoucements around services and partnerships that makes MUFG's administrative services more appealing to existing and potential new clients.

Lets go through some of these;

April 23
LINK annouced a partnership with Allianz Retire + providing a suite of next generation retirement income solutions. (AGILE - Allianz guaranteed income for life product.)
Expected Outcome
This product suite is in line with the Federal Government's desire for super funds to offer members guaranteed income stream investment options. This product offering will surely interest super funds.

Oct 24
MUFG Pension & Market Services acquired MoneySoft; an Australian digital solutions provider for financial planners, money coaches, mortgage brokers and retirement funds.
Expected Outcome
From an AFR article I read; "Superannuation funds are boosting their financial advice offerings following a legislative change that allows them to provide limited personal financial advice and deduct the cost from members’ accounts that has been approved by the Government and is expected to be implemented by Super funds."
The MoneySoft integration into MUFG'S platform would help clients undertake ROBO advice.

Jan 25
MUFG Pension and Market Services announce strategic partnership with Tata Consulting.
Expected Outcome.
From TCS consulting annoucement;
"We are excited by the possibilities that this partnership with MUFG Market & Pensions Services (MPMS) offers. TCS has expertise and experience in delivering innovative, technology-driven transformational solutions in the life and superannuation market. We will leverage this experience and our solutions together with MPMS’ deep industry insights to establish new benchmarks for customer experience and outcomes.”
The obvious outcome with this partnership is the bolstering MUFG'S digital platform offerings, in particular, for their clients in Australia.

Of interest, TCS already provides administration services to a number of large Workplace Pension Providers in the U.K.

There is a lot to like about the the evolving MUFG administration platform which argues well for Wrkr's determination to tie their services to this super fund administration provider.
