Thanks for sharing. There’s been an article written by a major high profile US investor too, probably in late 2017 about data being the next “oil”.

It’s what spurred me to invest in NextDC and Other smaller data centres. Appen’s and Wisetech are the software companies in banking on. Appen’s was less software and more of a global language resource aggregator before their acquisition. Now they’re a lot more tech. I love it even more now as they have a big advantage over everyone else. They’ve pretty much got no competitors in this space. Anyone who says Google, Facebook and Amazon will eventually want to do it themselves doesn’t know what they’re talking about. It’s been discussed over in the last few months, Appen has enough of a niche that it would be too hard to replicate.

I had orders put in at $21.50 but it didn’t get there unfortunately.
