AVB's value is growing every day, every drill hole.
If a market does not end up working out the value, a predator simply will. DML got a bid and now the management are saying its low ball. If someone bids 20c for AVB, everyone will say it's a low ball bid, come back. Yet that is double the price. Even at 20c, the predator would be paying nothing for the upside within this large land package and multiple targets therein.
The most likely thing to happen to AVB might be for a serious industry player to step into the share price and buy a percentage of the company. We saw this with OZL buying into SFR.
To some extent this has already happened with Xstrata, but that won't stop someone else buying in.
The advantage to a strategic player, is that the register is still open at the moment. They can buy 5-10% sub 20c. That window will close as we edge towards production. A lot of industry players know what the competition is doing.
We are really playing a waiting game with this now. The recently posted chart showing the life cycle of an explorer is absoultely spot on imo. AVB is in the bottom of the chart and the game is on. Positive news flow should have more of an effect than previously. dyor.
