I'm currently travelling in the USA for a few months, I'm actually horrified by the amount of packaging, disposable items here. In hotels at breakfasts the trash bins are filled many times with disposable items from plates, cups, knives and forks. Absolutely everything, I must admit I do enjoy certain States in the USA that still use plastic bags at the checkouts. The Democrat States like California don't but many others still pack customers purchases in plastic bags, its a pain in the backside when travelling to always have a bag available to pack anything you buy.
I don't think Amcor will suffer too much from any downturn. The spenders in the USA will keep spending, it can be frustrating for Aussies travelling in the USA at present with a poor exchange rate and rising inflation, especially with hotels and restaurants where prices have more than doubled since I was last here in early 2020.
I agree with your thoughts , the current AMC share price is a buying opportunity which I'm enjoying.
