The shorters are losing this battle as there's simply not enough volume of sellers willing to part with shares at all time lows. The current logic of the shorters is that people will abandon the stock in their droves because the entire global market will melt down. IMO that is a very serious miscalculation. We also have Australia's economy wondering how to put the brakes on inflation, and reporting surging employment, and terms of trade. Don't be fooled, Australia is booming big time and will continue to do so until China's GDP comes down a bit alongside a fairly large growth in their wages. Once all the shorts have covered and take losses or go long, look out for the same 10% in one day bounce it had a few weeks back (IMO, we're on the verge of this over the next couple of trading days if the US holds up tonight).

Short sales as a percentage of turnover have recently fallen from around 30% to just over 12% yesterday.

Fundamentals for the 2nd half of this year include a steady newsflow from China, and at least some information about a possible date to start the 2-3+ TCF potential North West Shelf. If successful, ROC's 20% stake in this project alone would outweigh current market cap and then some IMO.

At some point in time in the near future, low 30 cents is going to seem unbelievable.

    All IMO and DYOR etc.
