Well,
i'm not sure about only 7% of 626, as i seem to recall their farmin area being 4 blocks of 626, but regardless, it sure wouldn't have been the least prospective 4 blocks in the acreage they targeted first.
also, to drill outside of those 4 blocks with stanwells money is going to cost icon a percentage of that land, or at least it should in the real world,
so, with a write down on the lydia resource, and an (assumed) dilution/farmout of interests to stanwell outside the initial agreed area, you get a reduction in net potential reserves to icon.
furthermore, with blue energy walking away from the permit next door to the southern part of 626 due to no gas content and less than 5 meters of coal, you wouldn't like icon's chances of finding anything substantial in the southern half
