    For the 40% equity the Major is paynig Gunson an amount greter than the current market cop, this money will form part of Gunsons share in the development of the mine, reason is the use of the money in this way negates Gunson having to pay tax on it, if the funds were not applied against the mine development an for example a return to shareholders, then these funds would be taxable.
