Not if there was a short position in place. Mind you I am a bit rusty on current ASX position on shorting. I dont know if it is even possible execpt for CFDs that was why I asked for comment.
What I do see is that the current BOT keeps on taking out the Bid on low number of shares, 11 shares was a favourite yesterday,or slotting in between the BID ASK holding up the price then when enough buyers build up selling into that in larger numbers.It has been going on for weeks. NO possibility for the price to rise. They have been labouring over the last few days and almost lost control of the process. 53% of issued shares over a 3 month period is to me a hell of a percentage, and should have exhausted the biggest of holders?
Generally speaking if there is a choice between a conspiricy and a stuff up it is usually the later!
