Mr SV is mostly right. An appropriate CEO will cost between $150k and $350k, depending on size of the company and the strategic contacts the CEO brings (near term sales for instance), plus performance share options. (A $10m CEO is with a bank and IMO is criminal.) BRN should be looking at around $250k which is what Mr SV quotes. $100m is not trivial, even in the Valley. The odd FinTech and Social Media startups have distorted the reality. What is trivial in our case is the lack of sales and that is because of a lack of CEO in my experience and opinion. BRN is headless still. It should have been the first priority.
