I actually find it insulting he thinks we are stupid enough to fall for it. As with all distressed/turn-around stories like SIO, the risks are generally well known and appreciated by the market - hence the distressed valuation. With the jam packed register as it is, any sense by the market that the business is turning around or even stabilizing and the stock price can squeeze significantly higher very quickly as there is little available stock for purchase.

My advice for the Dog (mansbestfriend) is to make an offer that reflects fair value and maybe with the register where it is he might have half a chance. Otherwise, keep the trash talk to yourself.
