The SA and Fed govs did the GW study in the Pederka and Arck as part of the Great Artesian Basin impact study. Technically all GW systems have similar parameters in some way. What makes the Leigh Creek mine so perfect is the GW system there is pretty isolated and put simply considered a large salad bowl with virtually no flow through to adjacent basins. This makes it ideal for a UCG trial IMO. The water quality from ETSA publications and Alinta shows it has crazy levels of various elements including high salinity and hydrocarbons, so any UCG trial will not impact what is already considered unfit for human consumption, in fact UCG may well help to remediate the site.
