re: share price fall
tbg have born the brunt of the comptetive market conditions like so many others from a number of rivals in the industry
the competition between industry players for business and variety of product now available in the market place is second to none and of good quality
accordingly businesses and people will align themselves with those organisations that they can leverage opportunities from and benefit at the bottom line
unless the downward revision in sales revenue can be seriously addresssed and reversed the other way in the short term, then i think tbg stakeholders might be see the share price go lower, at time when cyclical conditions are most favourable for some time, and with a wide range of infrastructure projects under due consideration around australia
it 'might' be a case of the tbg board identifying which parts of business it wants to keep for the long term and what price they now value their business at
they could consider doing a nlx and a ppk and sell some parts of the business to help clear the decks or just sell up to the highest bidder
for those interested, the NHR agm is scheduled on 8/11/06 in sydney more info www.nationalhire.com.au
