I don't know to which stocks you are referring i.e.dual listed London Aust or just any listing. The best example of this was way back in 1968 when Hampton Areas was selling for 6-1/2 pence in Ldn and 10-1/2 c locally. I bought in Ldn and ideally had 6 weeks to pay for them as the Ldn broker had to have them transmitted to the local register. The company owned the dirt WMC were drilling at Kambalda. The royalty agreement was most favorable to Hampton and eventually was torn up in lieu of an allotment of WMC shares to Hampton. WMC stock roared up to $50 per share and the National Mutual Life Insurance, wanting to take a large interest in WMC, made a bid for Hampton. The bid was around $14+ per share. I was a newly elected Member of disallowed and this was a formidable first up take over.
