It is the market rotating out of growth stocks, those with high PE Ratios particularly. AEF had a PE Ratio above 100, now is just over 90 times.
AEF caught a break recently when FUM for the last quarter was clearly still growing, the share price didn't fall like Pendal and other Fund Managers whom had been going backwards.
Market rotation into Value stocks will stop eventually, but will be interesting to see how long it will take - 1 to 2 months or 1 to 2 years.
