Just a tip but I find it best to wait for the turn. Some stock 3% and some 10%. Some people have made fortunes on these types of strategies. No one knows the bottom its a fantasy, pure luck.

Better to miss a few pips than lose principle. Also once it does turn the profits can be almost instant. In the meantime cash is king.

This is different from a trailing buy. In fact if you look at the graph the best strategy for this over the past two years would have been a trailing sell.

Besides picking bottoms can leave you with smelly fingers.
