Oh I just re read the post, and the 8% figure mentioned was referring to shareholder return, my mistake. My post was related to the NTA return.

However, I'm also quite sure that TOP hasn't been around 5 years, only a bit over 3. It started out as a holding company, when Thorney became majority shareholder in another company, Wentworth Holdings I think it was. So anything before that would have been due to the previous company share price, and have nothing to do with TOP's performance.

The shareholder return hasn't been as quite as good as the NTA performance, due to the discount, but it's still a whole lot better than 8%.
