indeed VMK there are many churn variants
most noticeably customer churn and revenue churn
also it gets more complex in that sone companies will take the number lost from beginning of the year or take an average balance approach
I tend to like to see gross churn rather than net churn so you can see the absolute number of reductions and not masked by customer growth
acquisitions of course muddy the picture further
