I've probably been a bit clumsy in the way I've expressed it, but I don't want management to focus on gross churn. Just a broad brushstroke is good.
Opening ARR
+ New business
+ Net upsell
- Churn
= Closing ARR
If churn contains something of note, give us a bit of context. We can then track over time.
I like simple metrics, I'm a simple bloke.
