Buffet has said a lot of things. He also said don't buy anything you don't understand. He would never go anywhere near a company like OBJ. Too hard to understand both scientifically and business relationship wise.
Warren Buffet only invests in businesses that make sense to him and he fully understands the model, the market, and the customer base. If you can’t explain the business model to him in under 1 minute then he is not interested. He does this because if he cannot understand a business and what they do in 1 minute, their customers won’t understand either.Buffet also tends to only invest in businesses that he can easily measure their assets, growth, and value.
