Genentech's Avastin, which has been hyped unbelievably, increases survival in lung cancer by a full two months and has put on billions in terms of market capitalisation for Genentech (check the price chart).

All the late stage cancer patients in PRR's CancerVac trial recorded a tumour-specific immune response. As at the date of my last conversation with PRR's CEO two patients from this trial were still alive and were receiving treatment. Subsequent analysis has shown that the immune response is sustained.

Biomira, using a vaccine based on the same antigen reported a doubling of survival in patients with non-resectable lung cancer (cancer you can't cut out!). PRR's CancerVac vaccine has an identical mechanism of action.

Biomira is already talking about using PRR's vaccine in combination therapy with its own lung cancer vaccine. Lung cancer kills some 160,000 people a year in the United States alone - the addressable market is simply phenomenal in scale.

And, unlike Avastin, these immunotherapeutic cancer vaccines are just about completely safe.

No wonder the European oncologists were blown away by Biomira's results! Moreover, it is fairly easy to see why Health Canada might be prepared to allow an early marketing approval for the vaccine.

The fundamentals on this stock are simply awesome.

But research it for yourself and ignore the rampant ignorance on this thread.
