Don't listen to him 1mission, stick to your plan! Sell a few to cover the cost, let the rest ride. I have been a long term investor, rode the highs years ago around $13 to a substantial paper investment, only to see it drop to as low as 17c which coincided with a need to keep working! Fortunately I did sell some at ~$6 at the time to cover costs. But a hard lesson learned on what is still currently a speculative stock (by that I mean no regular income). I am free carried now, and have sold bits and pieces over the past year. Still have enough to sell a few more along the way to further lock in gains and yet still retain enough to meaningfully enjoy the ride up. I will mention this is 1/3 of my portfolio value now, so I do feel the need to balance a bit. I'm sure the taxman will also be happy with that call!
