Labor's super raid is going to come back to bite this country if our voters are stupid enough to give the Albanese government a second term, which they certainly are.
But I don't think that it has any real relevance to SLX right now.
Personally, my game plan as a 44 year old is to halt all non-concessional contributions with immediate effect until this legislation gets repealed, there are plenty of other places where I can put my money where I will be better treated than in this country under a hard left government, and if the ALP is the bookies' favourite to win the next election by early 2025, then, I'd be stopping ALL contributions to super, and pushing my septuagenarian father to withdraw everything over $2.7m from super as well.
I'd say that if the ALP win in 2025 a major market crash would be a racing certainty.
