short sellers will already have an institution/fund looking to sell out in order to 'close' their short. All those that think a share spikes as shorters have to buy back stock are talking dung. The deal will no doubt be sorted before the short enters. Only way short sellers hurt is if there's a takeover - highly unlikely. Nothing against the company here, just a technical trade to cover my U stocks.
