Somebody knows news is coming, and they know the SP will be much more than it is at present.
Ignorance is bliss in this case isn't it?
Anybody who got caught with a stop loss recently? deserves what they got! you do not place stop losses unless you absolutely have to, and there are some why, but the same people making you place them, are those that trigger them, so they are there for their benefit not yours, they control that. (Read One up on Wall st and see what Peter Lynch has to say about them!)
Brokers can manipulate the SP all they like and they know it and do, but there is one thing they cannot do, and that is manipulate a company once it is profitable which will determine the price multiple ratio and hence the price of the SP, so the game is one of waiting, price manipulators can't touch you if you don't sell.
FMG is a perfect example there.
There is a way of beating the price manipulators but it takes patience and time that is all.
