PsiQuantum's website says they are using photonic components, including single photon sources, single-photon detectors, and an ultra-high-performance optical switch fabricated in a high-volume semiconductor foundry on standard silicon wafers. The say photonic qubits avoid exotic materials and manufacturing processes and are able to leverage the existing reliability, volume and precision of standard semiconductor manufacturing processes.

I wonder whether the wafers they refer to are connected to the IP that we sold to IQE and which we are entitled to royalties for under the deal that MM a few years ago. I know that IQE is working with Global Foundries in the US where PsiQuantum is based and that Global Foundries was helping to develop our tech for specific applications.

Has anyone been keeping an eye on what been happening with that tech?

It'd be nice if that's another string to our bow!
